GAME CHARACTERS
- We are introducing Game Profiles (or Game Characters), which serve as the physical representation of your roleplay character. Profiles save your in-game progress and allow you to fully represent your character in roleplay, with your character's name being displayed in chat.
Character Creation Steps :
- When you join the server you will be introduced to a large text inviting you to name your character.
- Character names are restricted to 16 Characters and No Color Codes.
- Once you choose a name for your character, type the selected name in chat.
- If the name matches all the requirements, a window will pop up asking you to confirm your choice.
- Once you confirm your choice, you are all set to go!
CUSTOM DEATH
- Death now has a new form: corpses. Corpses are a fun way to allow you the player a second opportunity at life (Forget about totems :/)! With corpses, once you die, a corpse will spawn in your place, you will have 10 seconds to revive yourself with a revive item, once the time expires, other players will have the opportunity to claim items dropped by your corpse.
HOW IT WORKS?
- Corpses only spawn when killed by a Mob or a Player.
- Players at a 20 block radius will be alerted of a corpse spawning.
- Players will have 60 Seconds to claim the corpse before it de-spawns.
- The corpse will contain 5 randomized pieces of items from the killed players inventory.
- Once the corpse de-spawns the killed player will be returned to a defined spawn point, spawning with the items that were not taken.
PLAYER CHAT FUNCTION
- Tired of being spammed in chat? You now have the option to disable specific chats. When a chat is disabled, you will not receive any messages sent on that channel, likewise, you will not be able to chat in that channel until you reenable the chat. You also have the option to set your default chat, which will be the main chat all messages are sent to when you type without any prefixes.
HOW IT WORKS?
- There are two main channels, General Chat and Roleplay Chat, in-order to access any of these chats without switching your default option, the prefixes
@
and!
can be used respectively. - To toggle specific channels, or change your default chat options, you can run the command
/chat
. - Roleplay chat now has a range restriction of 20 Blocks, players outside that range will not receive your messages.
- If no players are found within the 20 block radius, your chat will not be sent.
